I am a fan of a wide variety of music. I am especially fond of music that provides a structure for improvisation and the unexpected results that can arise when musicians allow themselves to explore their instruments without the restrictions that typically more formulaic styles impose. However, I also enjoy music that is incredibly orchestrated and requires exact mechanics and pristine technique. Most of all, I need music to feel generous toward the listener or I lose interest very quickly. Music is a gift. It can change your life if you let it. If you are adventurous and willing to challenge yourself you can find all the treasures of the universe in the mastery of an instrument. Did I mention its a lot of fun? Pick me, you wont be disappointed.
