I am a fan of a wide variety of music. I am especially fond of music that provides a structure for improvisation and the unexpected results that can arise when musicians allow themselves to explore their instruments without the restrictions that typically more formulaic styles impose. Joel & I were co workers at Leaches Music. Joel was guitar teacher, teaching both children & adults. Joel did all things a good guitar teacher does. Teach, inspire & let students know when they do well.
Joel is a great teacher, and has really helped me learn a lot about the guitar. He is very patient and thorough. I never feel rushed or like I'm not learning fast enough. He is not about memorizing songs/riffs, but is all about getting you to develop your own relationship with the guitar and 'listen'. A great experience overall!+ Read More
