Accomplished composer and musician with MA can show you the ropes: guitar, theory, composition and more! Hi! I'm Joe and I'd be happy to teach you anything from classical composition to rocking out! I've been a professional musician for over 20 years, have written music for concert, film and animation, and have played in almost every kind of band, including rock, blues, jazz, punk, metal, classical, and world folk music. I studied music composition and guitar performance at the California Institute of the Arts where I got a BFA. I then went on the get an MA at Mills College in Oakland, CA. I've played music all around the US as well as several countries in Europe, and my music has been featured in full-length movies and animation. I appreciate all kinds of music. That is something that I like to share with all of my students. Music is one of the most important things in my life and hopefully I can help make it important and fun for you!
