Joe founded Big Beat Music Studio in 1983. Joe has been an active musician and instructor for over 25 years. His education includes study and master classes with famous percussionists such as Louis Bellson (Duke Ellington) and Carmine Appice (Rod Stewart). Joe is currently a performer and instructor all around the tri-state area. He has taught for DCI in New York City and The Long Island Drum Center. Joe has written articles for Modern Drummer Magazine. He has endorsements from Peace Drums, Beatnik & Gibraltar Hardware. He has been on several international cd's, He has performed on MTV & was a top finalist for Kiss, and has performed with and shared the stage with members of Bon Jovi, Kiss, Journey, Billy Joel, Steve Vai, Molly Hatchet & Black Label Society. Our goal at Big Beat Music is to help you reach your ultimate musical goals through the use of high tech equipment and innovative instructional techniques. Our curriculum provides an opportunity to participate in special practice incentive programs, musical games, awards and recitals. Big Beat Music helps students to develop their musical talents without limits in whatever direction they wish to go.
