Singing with Joanne L.

I have been singing since the age of 4. Singing is almost like breathing to me. First and foremost, I thank God for this unimaginable gift that I can carry with me wherever I go. I grew up singing in church and that is my most important service but I have also done musical theatre, barbershop, and formal classical singing. I give back to my God, what He has given and try to do it with excellence! I have done solo work and have sung in a 200 voice traveling choir - all to the glory of God. The genres that I have covered in my time of singing have been numerous. From classical to country and just about everywhere in between. I have sat under the direction of some excellent teachers and thank God for them in my life. I minored in music in college, but have gleaned so much more knowledge outside of the classroom. In previous vocal lessons my most favorite part is when the student finally understands and their gift is what it was meant to be. I love people and will always do my best to encourage positively.
