I became very passionate about art very early in life. I am constantly looking for new ways of simplifying the "how to" for teaching purposes. I've experienced the Paint n' Sip group who mostly wanted to have a great time and were not that serious about the outcome of their painting. I've also worked with students who were searching for improvement and to add to their portfolio for the art institute application. My preferred style is realism with a certain simplicity. Drawing from life is the best way to capture perspective, light and shadow and I would recommend starting out with this approach. Portraiture is my main focus, although I love to draw anything that inspires me; people are my favorite to draw and teach.
