I have enjoyed music from a very young age and been teaching since the age of fifteen. I have performed as a guitarist and vocalist in solo and duo shows in addition to jazz combo and wedding bands. I love many different kinds of music and I especially connect with classics from the 50's, 60's and 70's. What do you connect with? When I learn about your influences, we will use them to tailor your lessons to YOU. When I was young I remember teachers who I really enjoyed, and also those I didn't. I try to teach in a way that makes you as the student feel good about your progress and potential. You will always look forward to our lessons together. Prior to relocating to NY, I worked as a private guitar teacher in SC. In addition to recording, performing, and teaching music. I have also worked in the IT industry and done technical training. I have held roles where teaching and communication skills were essential. This translates really well to music education.
