Trumpet with Jimmy J.

James Jewson is a young professional musician, already having an impressive musical resume. Jewson has studied trumpet since the age of ten, and has studied under Channing Philbrick, Robert Dorer, J. Thomas Seddon IV, and Marty Robinson. Mr. Jewson is currently the adjunct trumpet teacher at the Latin School of Chicago. He also served as a beginning band instrument teacher in Onalaska, Wisconsin in the summer of 2016. He has a Bachelor's of Science in Music Education and Music Performance from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Orchestral Trumpet Performance at the Chicago College of the Performing Arts where he studies with Channing Philbrick.
