Bass Guitar with Jim L.

I make music professionally with my trombones, bass, and keyboards in the greater NYC area. I compose and produce music for a wide variety of clients around the world, and for my YouTube channel, Twitch livestream, and other outlets. Originally from central Michigan, I’ve worked on stages, in recording studios, and in broadcast media in dozens of cities around the world including London, Paris, Tokyo, Los Angeles, and of course New York. My credits include Cirque du Soleil, Disney, and the TONY® and EMMY® award-winning production "Blast!" My musical journey began when I was 4 years old with my first piano lesson. I love to make music that helps to tell a story, to stir emotions, and to bring a little bit more beauty into our world. I hope to help you make music that enriches your life and the lives of the people around you! I earned a master's degree in jazz studies at the University of Southern California while serving as a teaching assistant. I also earned a bachelor's degree in music education from Central Michigan University.
