Hello! My name is Jillian, I have been playing violin for 12 years, about to be 13 here shortly. I am a fun, energetic person who loves watching others succeed. My teaching style really depends on the student, I started teaching back in 2011, and had students from 3 to 50 that obviously needed different methods for learning. I modify every lesson plan specifically to the student, taking in to consideration what genre they like, and where they want to be with proficiency. I love all genres of music, I started with classical, then branched to rock and popular songs with songs like Carry on my Wayward Son, Stairway to Heaven, Viva La Vida and then to movie scores such as Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Jurassic Park, etc. I am a huge fan of music, and the healing and stress relieving powers it has. Every student can succeed, it's up to the teacher to put them in a position that they can and will prevail. Music should be fun for everyone!
