Violin with Jill G.

Jill has an enormous love for the violin and music that is uncontainable; and she loves sharing that with her students. Jill received her teacher training in the Sassmannshaus Tradition; however, her teaching encompasses various methods and materials. She understands that each student learns differently and adjusts her teaching style to maximize the learning experience for the student. Jill loves teaching both children and adults. She says, “One of my favorite things about teaching violin is seeing how excited my students get when they are able to play something they once thought was impossible.” Tina, one of Jill’s students, said, “I have so much fun in my lessons with Jill. She is such a patient and encouraging teacher.” Jill loves to listen to and play various genres of music including classical, fiddle, rock, and country. She has played in orchestras, for private events, and in a contemporary band environment.
