Happy Summer 2019! I have not been active but I am back so please read this carefully! Thanks to all who seem to have been curious in any case about me on this platform! I have updated my calendar. Yes, I am teaching! But, I am only teaching this Summer, in the NYC Metropolitan area in person. I definitely can teach online too anywhere we have the technology to make it happen! So, if you want to learn in the next week or so and until the end of August, let's do it! Please try the message me feature and thanks for asking me questions. Musically, Jill ------------------------------------- Have fun, work hard.. that is my motto and NEVER QUIT!!!! *** Lesson Details *** I offer fun, creative, serious ways of learning how to be a complete musician, I am able to teach you how to play piano at a beginning to intermediate level, guitar, mostly beginning level, voice any level but not expert yet in all of this and so that is why I take lessons myself in NYC to always get better. I am trained in the classical methods, but happy to experiment with others. I believe a solid technique in any level is the foundation and then, if you need more expertise, I am happy to refer you to others I know who teach in that style. Each lesson , depending on your age, will have some kind of technical work, such as drills, work on whatever level you are at in music theory, sight reading, musicality and all components that would make you a complete musician, as I have been trained You will also have some FUN because it just would get boring and then practicing would be a pain instead of inspiring you. Games, little fun tests spelling musical words and the like,. *** Studio Equipment *** So, yes, great equipment at various studios that I can teach at all over the NYC metro area. If curious, for piano lessons, can use a portable keyboard as well as a "regular " one :) *** Specialties *** Mostly classical, but have at times worked with some Broadway singers, got them to sing technically correct, then referred them to a more appropriate teacher.
