Piano with Jia L.

Hi, there! My name is Jia Lu. I can't wait to meet you! I've been teaching private lessons since 2010 and have loved helping my students. I have helped students to prepare for the public concerts, Nyssma, and also competitions. I went to Queens College and earned my Bachelor of music in 2013 under Professer Morey Ritt's studio. I won the concerto competition there and graduate with departmental honor. I earned my master of music degree under Prof. Nina Svetlanova's guidance at Mannes. I've been teaching different age groups. My youngest student is 2.5 years old and the oldest is in her 60s! I have seriously studied piano pedagogy and familiar with the popular method books and materials. I'm a loving and passionate person and my teaching style is encouraging, creative, and also responsible. I want all my students enjoy the music first and then play piano! I look forward to helping you reach your goals! And by the way, I can also teach in Chinese!
