Levels Taught:
Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced
American Sign Language is a manual mode of communication and things such as handshape, palm orientation, location, movement, and non-manual signals change the meaning of a sign from family friendly to very culturally inappropriate/discriminatory. I teach these variations in order to allow people to make informed decisions about the signs they utilize. I teach in a way that incorporates common sense, memorization strategies, and interactive exercises for fun learning.
