Get TWO voice teachers for the price of ONE! Jez had been teaching solo for 10 years. During coaching sessions for an audition with her student Aleç, Jez saw that their respective specialties could come together for comprehensive training that is often reserved for university settings. They decided to start teaching together. Jez and Aleç have over 30 years of experience performing opera and teaching. We provide a comprehensive vocal education based on BelCanto. Many students have gone on to perform on Broadway, in rock bands, made rap albums, started opera careers, and sang for special events in their churches. Because every voice is unique, all lessons are tailored to your needs. However, you can generally expect a physical/mental warm-up, a vocal warm-up, and time to work through a piece of repertoire in each lesson. Please let us know what your needs are! There is always a modification or a different way to get to the same goal. Jez trained at AMDA for musical theatre and Baldwin Wallace University for Vocal Performance. She is also Yoga Alliance Certified. Aleç trained at Baldwin Wallace University for Vocal Performance and the University of Maryland for Opera Performance.
