Jessie Chiu is a violinist and music technologist. She received her bachelor degree of classical violin performance and music education in University of Taipei in 2013. In 2016, as a selected scholarship recipient, she attended Berklee College of Music, studied the major in Electronic Production and Design.

Through out the 10 years of violin and piano teaching experience, Jessie likes to explore the unique personality on every student and works with them in the ways that fit everyone the best.

Having different ways of communication, practice strategies and encouragement for students and parents on different ages, backgrounds and stages is very important. Learning music with Jessie, and she can give students a healthy environment to explore their talents.

About Jessie C.

Jessie Chiu is a Taiwanese classical trained violinist, singer, and music technologist.
Jessie started to learn piano at 6-year-old and dig into violin as her primary
instrument at 9-year-old. Throughout the years from elementary school to
university, she studied in music-gifted classes and played in the school orchestra
and chambers.
As a active musician, in 2004, Jessie went to perform in Vatican City and
Roma with Stella Matutina Girl’s High School Orchestra. In 2007, She went to a
classical music camp in Austria.
Jessie studied at the music school of University of Taipei. She attended musical
performances and recorded for the soundtracks as a singer and violinist. In
addition, she also had a lot of ensemble experiences, such as school orchestra,
Purely Professional Orchestra, school string chamber orchestra, school choir.
In 2010, Jessie was selected to attend one of the most important summer jazz
camp in Taiwan which held by National Theater and Concert Hall (NTCH) as a
singer and performed solo in the NTCH summer jazz outdoor party. In this camp, she worked with well-known jazz musicians like Antonio Hart, Michael Mossman, Stacey Wei and so on.
From 2013 to 2015, Jessie was the violinist of the Taiwanese indie-rock band-
Seven Stages of Grief(7SOG). 7SOG created music with revolutionary sound and
ideas. They played with other indie-rock bands in series concerts arranging and
also performed in some significant venue for indie music. Also, From 2014 to 2016, Jessie worked as a violinist and music designer for several theaters,
such as Ifkids, W.H.Y Wilder...and so on. From then on, she started to try out live
electronic music performances with theaters.
In Fall 2016, as a selected scholarship recipient, Jessie entered the world-known music school, Berklee College of Music and major in Electronic Production and Design. At Berklee, She focused on music production and sound design. Otherwise, she also appeared in several performances and recordings and worked with a lot of renowned musicians. She was the violinist of the world premiere musical “The Kiss” by Grammy-winning musician, Peter Eldridge. In Spring 2019, She was nominated by the department faculty and received the Roland Award and scholarship. She graduated from Berklee the Fall 2019.
