My name is Jessica and you can come to me for any of your language-related needs! I am speech-language teacher and English as a Second Language teacher. I have years of experience tutoring the SAT as well as the languages of French and Italian. Please read below for my specific qualifications in each of these areas. I hope we can work together soon!

Speech-Language Teacher:
I currently work with students with various educational needs, including learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, study skills, social skills and speech production. I have undergone special training at Columbia University to work with children who are bilingual.

English as a Second Language Teacher:
I have years of experience teaching English as a Second Language to children through adults. Having worked abroad and in New York at a private language school, in addition to pursuing TESOL certification, I am uniquely qualified to teach English in terms of reading, writing, speaking, listening, exam preparation, accent reduction and grammar.

SAT Reading/Writing Teacher:
I have been tutoring the SAT Reading and Writing sections at a private test preparation company for many years. Due to my expertise in language teaching, I am particularly qualified to teach these sections of the exam. I scored in the 98th percentile on the SAT Reading/Writing and in the 93rd percentile on the GRE exam (graduate school level SAT).

French and Italian Teacher:
I tutor French and Italian, which I have been proficient in and tutoring for over 15 years. Having graduated college with a 4.0 in her double major in French and Italian Language and Literature, I have taught these subjects to both children and adults.

I enjoyed studying English in her class!
I wanted to improve my pronunciation and took Takelessons.
She taught me how to pronounce English correctly.
