Jessica, a speech-language pathologist clinical fellow, has been assisting individuals with their speech improvement and English language abilities for over seven years. Previously, Jessica taught English in Italy and worked at the international Berlitz Language School. There, Jessica provided business English courses and pronunciation training to corporate professionals and students from Asia, South America, Europe and Africa. Jessica then went on to pursue her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology at Queens College in New York. This clinical training combined with over seven
years of accent modification and English language teaching has formed Jessica into the accent modification and English language specialist that she is today.
Additionally, Jessica is currently a speech-language teacher at an elementary school. She works with students with various challenges, including learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as with reading and writing difficulties. Jessica also has experience working at a private company with students from elementary through high school in need of extra social skills training, many of whom were on the Autism Spectrum. Jessica particularly enjoys this area of speech-language pathology, as well as assisting with study skills (executive functioning), another field in which she has been professionally trained.
Jessica is also qualified to tutor French and Italian. She graduated with a 4.0 in her double major in French and Italian Language and Literature from the University of Pittsburgh. Jessica has spent the past seven years tutoring these subjects to both children and adults.
