Hi there! My name is Miss Jess. I have been teaching music for the last ten years in all kinds of ways! I started teaching private lessons while studying Music Education in college, and have continued through my music business, Horizon Music Studio. I perform violin, piano and/or voice in my city for events such as weddings, cocktail hours, and business dinners. I have taught music in many different environments. I started after college with teaching orchestra and chorus in public school for a few years, and then worked for a performing arts center to deliver music instruction to at risk and special needs students. While working for that arts center I got involved heavily in their musical theater program, and music directed their children’s theater productions. Now I work for another arts center in my area teaching music and acting. I also teach lessons from my home and do online lessons.
