Hello there! I’ve been a professional songwriter/singer & teacher (though like to call myself a mentor) for over 15 years. A few years ago I was asked to mentor music students from Denmark’s Oure Performing Arts School during their annual visit to NYC. We helped the students improve their original songs before they went in to the studio to record (while in NYC). It was such a rewarding experience that I continued to mentor them each time they visited the USA. I also coach students in the NYC Public Schools (for special performances), non profit at risk youth organizations, as well as private classes for songwriters & performers of all ages. I bring my real world experience of a successful music career to all of my students. I’m the recipient of the ASCAPlus Songwriters Award, I’ve toured with Aretha Franklin (& other artists) & I’ve licensed over 100 of my original songs to film/tv projects. Making music is highly personal & a cathartic way to express your life experience. Let’s make some music together!
