Hello everyone. I've been playing guitar for 40 years, professionally for 32 years. I've been teaching private lessons since 1988, right after I graduated from Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA. I have a B.A in Music Composition and Theory from the University of TN at Chattanooga, with a concentration in Classical Guitar. I tailor my lessons to each students individual needs. Never stop learning!
My current band. Classic Rock to Contemporary Rock and Metal.
Started my own music store in 2003, because the closest real music store was 30 miles away.
Previous band. Hard Rock to Country Rock. Wide variety of material from the 60's to the 2k10's.
My first full time teaching gig.
Second full time teaching gig. I was still teaching for Mike's Music when I started teaching at Guitar Solutions. Guitar Solutions was only 5 minutes from home. Guitar Solutions went out of business in 2001, but I still had a full roster of students. So I took over their location and eventually started New Millenium Music a couple of years later.+ Read More
I have known Jerry since 1991. I feel he is an experienced teacher with a wealth of knowledge to pass on to students. I own 3 private music schools and I have brought Jerry in numerous times to teach masterclasses. Jerry keeps a busy teaching and playing schedule. If you are looking for a teacher, I highly recommend him and don't wait because his schedule will fill up.

I've been taking lessons from Jerry for several years now. He is a great instructor and I would highly recommend him. He knows his stuff and is an all around great guy.
I took lessons from Jerry for about 15 years in all different styles of music. From Jazz to Classical to Blues and Metal. He is one of the best instructors that i know of. If not the best. He made me the guitarist that i am today!
