Hi! I am Jeremy and have been teaching drum-set and percussion lessons since 2005 and am currently teaching private lessons at my private drum studio in Clairmont San Diego, clients homes, and online. I have helped many students grow into great players by using key fundamental ideas and letting students run with the fun. Whether it is technique, reading, soloing, or just grooving I teach each student based on their unique way of learning. I construct the details of their education to mold them into the best drummer possible, and to facilitate them meeting their personal goals as a player and a musician.

If you are looking for a drum teacher who is a pro and ton of fun to be around then Jeremy Deitz is your man. He has been a musician for most of his life, jamming with friends and touring with bands. Jeremy is wonderful with students both young and old. He is excellent at listening to your individual needs and can facilitate lessons based on his student. Full Time Drummer for national touring rock outfit The Voodoo Fix. Played 150+ shows in the span of one year. Played with and opened up for Foghat, BadBadNotGood, Toubab Krewe, Johnny Winter, Ivan Neville, and many more. You gain a lot of experience while traveling as a band and that is yet another subject of education that I can teach about in lessons- Surviving the road!

Worked as Drum Technician during KOSA's annual week long work shop in Vermont. Set up, tuned, transported, and stage managed for some of the best drummers in the industry. Worked side by side with Dennis Chambers(Funkadelic, Santana, Mike Stern), Bernard Purdie(Aretha Franklin, Beatles), Antonio Sanchez(Pat Methany), John Blackwell(Prince, Bootsy Collins), Giovanni Hidalgo (legendary Conguero), and many more.
