    About Jere F.

I am a multi-media producer, recently relocated to Cazadero from the East coast. I have over 30 years of experience in multi-media, video/audio production and engineering/sound design, etc. I had a recording studio based in the Boston area for over 20 years and have engineered and produced several notable projects for artists in that region. I've played Guitar and Bass Guitar since I was 7 years old. I started playing synthesizers and learning how to produce audio recordings at age 19 and have been active since. I played Tenor and Alto sax in stage and symphonic bands in Junior High and High School. This experience gave me a strong foundation in Jazz and Big Band standards and arrangements. In 1981, I went to Berklee College of Music in Boston for Electronic Music and Guitar. I eventually taught Polyphonic Synthesis and Music Technology at Berklee from 2001 - 2003. I also taught Audio Production at Emerson College in Boston from 2001 - 2003. Since 1981, I've been studying Traditional Ghanain Drumming and Dancing and am a member of Agbekor Drum and Dance Society, a performing group run out of Tufts University in Medford, Ma. I traveled to Ghana and Togo in 1986 for 7 weeks to study with Master Drummers from the Ewe people of southern Ghana and Togo and the Dagomba people of the Tamale region in the north. I have over 30 years experience recording in a variety of formats and over 15 years of experience with ProTools. I've worked with many of the other well-known audio recording applications, including Garageband, Ableton Live, Reason, etc. I'm adept with many other music software applications, including software synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines. I love to teach and have mentored many aspiring singer-songwriters of all ages in my recording studio in production techniques and composition. I look forward to your response. Regards, Jere F. *** Studio Equipment *** Recording Studio, Guitars, Bass, African Drums, Drum Triggers, Synthesizers, Multi Effects, Software Synthesizers and Samplers. *** Travel Equipment *** Guitar, Bass Guitar, Synthesizer/Sampler, African Drums *** Specialties *** As a producer of several artists/singer/songwriters, I've mentored my clients in production techniques for songwriters/songwriting. I've played Guitar, Bass, Sax, Keyboards and Drums in several different musical projects and can teach music on any instrument.
