I have been performing improv, comedy, theatre, as well as writing, storytelling and exploring creative topics my entire life. I have always had a passion for uninhibited creativity that uses a solid foundation in theory and practice. Using a practical approach to right brain activities, I am able to merge creative desires and its practical applications in an effective and fun space that students love to explore! Students who take my lessons walk away with not only pragmatic advice and theory but incredible confidence, passion and a desire to explore their creative subjects further. I graduated from the University of North Florida with a degree in Film Studies. I furthered my studies with a graduate degree at Queen's University. I've worked as a professional performer, actor and comedian since 2005 with roles in Television, Film and on Stage. I currently work as a touring stand-up comedian and improv comedian. I tutor a variety of performance and creative subjects including Acting, Improv Comedy and Public Speaking . I believe encouragement and support is of upmost importance. I teach with compassion and understanding, first and foremost. My lessons are customized to each individual's needs and I offer progress reports, constructive criticism and homework assignments as needed. Most importantly, I want to make sure that each lesson sees the student walking away feeling empowered, encouraged, confident and successful. As I approach tutoring with honesty and respect, I expect my students to be held to the same standard. In this way, I encourage feedback.
