Piano with Jenny S.

Greetings! My name is Jenny, and I have been teaching violin and piano for 22 years. I've played the piano since I was 5 years old, and the violin since I was 9 years old. I have lots of experience not only teaching, but also performing for various weddings, gala's, and other events in the community and at church. Music has always been a passion of mine. In my spare time, I write and arrange music, and am very familiar with Finale and Smart Score programs. I have 3 yrs of college experience majoring in piano & violin performance. My desire as a teacher is to help each student learn so they can reach and surpass their own goals. One thing I have learned from teaching so many years, is that every student is unique in how they learn, and it's important to me to find the best way for each student to learn and truly understand what they are learning. I am very patient and kind, and have experience teaching children, adults, and those with special needs. I am open to using whatever books you prefer, and can make suggestions/ recommendations as well. Having the music software Finale allows me to be able to tailor songs to fit your level.
