for piano: I am a classically trained pianist starting 17 years ago, currently studying at Berklee College of Music and working as a Hebrew teacher at an after school. although most of my early musical education was classical, i still teach various styles and genres as i believe in exploring the piano to its fullest. my students will be familiar and comfortable with the keyboard, will have correct and healthy posture + practice habits and will understand the theory/reason behind what they play. I teach solfege, work with books and notebooks but will accommodate with e-books, videos ect. if that works better for a student. I teach all ages, students disabilities too for all levels. I'm studying to become a music therapist while also playing professionally contemporary, creating new music especially EDM, Prog rock, "classical"; all this comes to play in my teaching, I love helping my students find their own interpretation and "fingerprint" with the piano. I believe that technique and musical ethics are crucial for any musician and are a part of the very top priorities. looking forward to teach and learn with you!! for Hebrew: I was born and raised in Israel at an American- Israeli home, and have definitely experienced culture shock in both cultures multiple times, and so teaching the Hebrew language is always a lot more than simply teaching a language for me. I have taught classrooms and individuals with different settings, mostly kids yet i teach all ages and needs. Hebrew can be learned as a means to understanding the Bible, Israeli pop culture, formal Hebrew... opportunities are endless! My dream in this field is to see my students be able to eventually fully express themselves at their given level using creative writing, comic, music ect... looking forward to start classes with you!
