I am an AFPA certified personal trainer and hula hoop expert. In addition to working as a personal trainer at LaFitness, I have taught Hooping for Fitness and Performance at a local community center. I would love to help a novice or intermediate to improve his or her fundamental hooping skills as well as learn some new exciting tricks.

Good day. I very much enjoy tutoring students online and in person and have been tutoring students of all ages since 2011 and have provided more than 14,000 lessons. As a former forensic chemist for the Drug Enforcement Administration and a small-group water-testing laboratory supervisor for the US Air Force overseas, I graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Drew University with a major in chemistry and a minor in French. Jennifer has been the biggest blessing to our family by coaching my daughter! Despite my daughter being an all honors and AP student there is still so much that she has learned from Jennifer. My daughter has benefited greatly  from how Jennifer explains the concepts with patience and knowledge of the material. My daughter has described Jennifer as “ really nice and easy to talk to and ask questions”. Jeniffer has coached my daughter in AP Chemistry, Precalc and currently AP Calculus and SAT. As a mom, it’s the best thing when you know that your child will do well in a class because Jennifer is there to help her! Jennifer has tutored me 5 times so far and she is amazing! She has a way of explaining even the most complicated problems and makes them easy to understand. She is very patient and understanding. There has not been a geometry question that I have had yet that she isn't able to break down into simple and understandable steps. I have used other tutors as well prior to using Jennifer and I will never go back. I have already scheduled with her for an additional 4 times! I usually send her my questions the night before our lesson and she is completely prepared the next day. She even has a copy of my textbook for her to reference as well!

Jennifer is a wonderful tutor who not only has deep expertise in her subjects but knows how to take that expertise and  help her students to become better students. The result is that her students are able to retain what is taught in various subjects. My daughter has been tutored  for years by Jennifer and is an honors student. We definitely believe that Jennifer is a major factor in her success.  We recommend her highly and as my daughter has matured  during her time with Jennifer, she values her insight  and advice as she plans to take the next steps toward college admission. We are very fortunate to have a resource in our community that not only we as parents value, but that the students themselves value too.
