Colors have been scientifically proven to alter moods and creating art can be therapeutic and an excellent way to release.
Sometimes, however, creating can be daunting when faced with preconceived notions of what the finished piece should look like.
If you've always wanted to paint but didn't want to do something cookie cutter or are experiencing the equivalent of writer's block when staring at that blank canvas-- abstract expressionism is the way to go.
Abstract expressionism allows you the freedom to just flow and release.
You'll learn basic technique as you explore and express yourself including how to properly hang, exhibit and care for your work.
I'm an exhibiting artist with years of experience in the field.

I'm a professional artist and photographer.
My current disciplines are painting (acrylic primarily but also body-paint), photography (digital and b&w film) and mixed media.
I believe everyone is an artist and it's just a matter of exploring mediums until you find what's right for you and continue developing.
I love to nurture and facilitate that journey for others because art is therapeutic, it helps keep our wits sharp and it is a wonderful way to express, explore, connect and even make a positive difference.
