    About Jennifer L.

I have a Bachelor degree in acoustic engineering and music (classical guitar performance). This is a joint program between the Hartt School and the College of Engineering. This training has taught me not only about music, but also the physics of how musical instruments and hearing work. This is a specialty most teachers do not have. I have been playing and performing for 25. I studied classical guitar under Alan Spriestersbach, Pete Divine, and Mark Oppenlander. I have taken voice lessons with Tina Shafer (NYC) and Christine Pasqualone (LA). I've also participated in songwriting masterclasses with Tina Shafer and Jenny Bruce, and studied songwriting with Cari Cole. My goal is to help students reach their full potential as artists. I work more as a coach than just a traditional teacher. Not every student requires the same approach. I will work with you work towards your goals and uncover any blocks would otherwise hold you back.
