Hello all! My name is Jennifer and I'm a college student! I'm currently in my third year at the University of Southern Mississippi and on my way to earning a degree in English. It's always been my dream to become a teacher and my lifelong passion has been music, so along the way I discovered the perfect combination of the two! I've always felt that education should be fluid and fit to each individual student's needs and desires for their own growth so that's exactly what I've striven for in my work! I've been singing for as long as I can remember and was part of my high school's first show choir. In college I was accepted into my school's concert choir where I had the great opportunity to sing among world class performers. I have taken private vocal and piano lessons for 2 years, broadening my vocal training into the realms of opera and musical theater and overall honing my experience with the piano. Overall I would say that I am a very patient and laid-back teacher who's willing to work with you to achieve your own goals in music. I've never been a fan of working for the sake of work, so everything that we do in our lessons will have purpose and build onto your musical foundation!
