English (ESL) with Jennifer B.

Hello! I am an English instructor with a Masters degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and Bachelor degrees in both Education and English Literature. I have taught in a variety of settings including public elementary, middle, and high schools as well as in higher education. After graduating from college, I decided to move to Barcelona, Spain to teach English as a Foreign Language. There I worked with children, young adults, and adult professionals both at home, at school, and at their business places. I was able to work one-on-one, in small groups, and with larger class sizes. I had the opportunity to teach general English, business English, and exam preparation classes. Currently, I work as an ESL teacher in a local school district with children ages 5-11. I create and implement my own lesson plans based on students individual needs in order to help them succeed in their regular education classes. I have over five years of teaching experience and I enjoy working with students of all ages. I will create authentic and engaging lessons to help you become more confident using the English language in your daily life. I can also help prepare you for a variety of English exams such as the IELTS and the TOFEL exams. I look forward to meeting you!
