I have a relaxed yet thorough approach to teaching and playing, and I love working with students of all ages and abilities. As an active performer, both as a soloist and in collaboration with vocalists and instrumentalists, I am classically trained and experienced in many styles of music. Lessons include ear training, note-reading, basic musicianship, history, theory, and a wide variety of music. I don't pressure my students, but there are plenty of opportunities to perform for those who are interested.
