I am a lifelong actor who is passionate about helping clients uncover their natural ability to captivate an audience. I work with both professional performers; and with executives, academics, and anyone seeking to communicate with power, ease, and authenticity. I hold an MFA from the Academy for Classical Acting at George Washington University, and an MFA from NYU-Tisch. I assist medical students with patient communication at John's Hopkins University, teach acting at Everyman Theatre, and perform regularly in the DC/Baltimore area. I am also certified as a Vinyasa Yoga Teacher, and am currently completing my 300 hour Mindfulness Teacher Certification with the Engaged Mindfulness Institute. I am passionate about helping clients find greater fulfillment and a deeper connection to themselves and others: be it through mindfulness practice, public speaking coaching, or acting training.

I remember being so nervous to take acting classes because I had little experience. But when I had my first session with Jennie I knew she was the right teacher for me. She made me feel so comfortable and has given me such great advice and techniques that I will utilize forever. She taught me how to control my nerves during auditions, analyze scripts , voice control, and other great techniques! My favorite thing about Jennie is that she starts ever class asking what I want to accomplish and learn which I really appreciate. She is a great acting teacher with tons of educational and working experience that gives me great insight on acting industry. Jennie is not only a great acting teacher but also a great mentor and friend! I have learned so much from her over the past year. She is always open to talk and give great advice not only about acting but life too!

I came to Jennie with basically 0 acting experience and wow am I glad I went to Jennie. She is the most kind, compassionate and supportive instructor out there. Her knowledge was vast and whether you want to get into film, Tv, theater or just wanna get out of your shell, Jennie is the instructor for you. She helped me every step of the way to hone my craft, work on monologues, mock audition and so much more. Jennie’s way of teaching makes you think differently and she truly brings out the best side of you. Plus Jennie is so supportive going at my speed giving constructive feed back and making me feel great about my progress. Lastly, Jennie was understanding of my time and worked around my schedule as well as the “homework” or “things to work on” she gave. Jennie was flexible and the Zoom calls worked incredibly well during this pandemic. Every day I would get off of our call with a smile on my face feeling accomplished! Overall I would say Jennie was helpful, knowledgeable and a great instructor. I would highly recommend her for anyone who is looking to start acting and have no idea where to begin.
