Teaching violin is my passion! In the twelve years that I have taught, I have developed lasting relationships with my students. Finding a qualified teacher with whom you connect is important, so here's a little bit of info. I am patient, enthusiastic, and committed to excellence. My goal is to develop autonomous learners with good violin technique. Instilling positive habits from the beginning is key in preventing future technical frustrations. When I teach, I tailor lessons according to the student's experience, skills, personal goals, and preferred learning style. Whether I am teaching children or adults, my goal is to provide a comfortable and supportive environment in which students thrive. It is never too late to learn (violin is great for keeping the mind active)! - Bachelor's degree in violin performance from The University of Western Ontario, - Master's degree in Music Education with an emphasis on Suzuki Pedagogy from the University of Wisconsin.
