Hello, my name is Jenna. I am an elementary school teacher and a musician! Academic teaching experience: I am entering my fourth year of teaching. I taught second grade for one year, then third grade in Yorkville School District 115 which has been my perfect fit. Music teaching experience: I am currently in three different music projects- "Oblio and Arrow" is a six person folk rock band, "Vision" is a project where I play keyboard and sing, and I've started my own smaller project called "The Little Birds" with a good friend where we sing/play mainly covers and some of my original music. In all of these projects, I sing, play keyboards/piano, guitar, ukulele, and sometimes melodica, tambourine, or a shaker. As a dedicated musician, I intend to create a love for music with any of my students, including the students I teach at school! I make sure my students know that it is possible and fun to be a teacher and a musician, and that they can be a musician and anything else they'd like!
