About Jeffrey P.
I am a theatre director, and acting teacher. Indeed, the work that most excites me falls between those hats, "directing" and "teaching". I have been deeply curious and passionate about acting for as long as I can remember, and I have enthusiastically explored acting as a student, teacher, director, playwright, and researcher for nearly twenty years.
Whether you're taking one of my workshops, or working with me one-on-one, I can offer a safe space for intensive study and investigation of:
-Relaxation
-Concentration
-Stretching the Imagination
-Text Interpretation
-Shakespeare & The Greeks
-Connecting with your Scene Partner
-Pathways to Characterization
-Working with your Body and Voice
-Emotional Availability
-Presence
Discover and explore the questions that nag you about your own acting habits, and develop your library of audition material. Get up on your feet, get out of your head, and into the room!
Previous experience welcome, but not necessary.
