I am a professional guitarist and songwriter for one of the most renowned San Diego live bands. I have been teaching lessons for the last seven years and have performed professionally for 12. I currently have around 30 students at a local music school and play live several times a week. Guitar students can expect to improve from week to week, with an ever growing understanding and appreciation for music. My teaching experience allows me to be aware of how students improve their playing with an emphasis on consistent progression and smart milestones that give students a feeling of accomplishment that minimizes frustration. I tailor my lessons to the students skill level/interests. If you just want to have some fun learning to play chords, THAT’S OK! If you want to delve deeper into diatonic harmony, half diminished chords, and modal interchange, then let’s get down on it!
