I will teach you the fundamentals, of-course, but along with the basics I will emphatically stress ear training. As you learn to trust your ear, you will gain confidence and will ultimately be a more proficient and well rounded player.I will encourage you to progress at your optimum speed with mutually agreed upon goals. After six months of dedicated study, you should be playing songs, jamming with others and have the ability to listen to a song and play along with your guitar. *** Specialties *** Rock, blues, fusion,r&b, folk, country, bluegrass, prog. and most other contemporary styles. If a student brings in a DVD I am able to listen and assimilate the music. I am not competent in classical guitar.
