I've been practicing origami for over 20 years. My love of animals as a kid inspired me to learn origami so I could fold my very own paper zoo. Now, I teach students of all ages and skill levels to fold. I've also been a theatre educator for nearly a decade and I love empowering the inner artist in all of us.

I'll work with you to master the common folds and bases, learn all kinds of models, and show you how to read diagrams so you can keep folding on your own, and even try your own original designs.

Just by folding paper, you can create beautiful pieces of art in five, twenty-five, or one hundred and five steps, from a simple fish to a three-headed dragon. The art of Origami truly has no bounds. Origami also improves hand-eye coordination and can feel as calming as meditation. After every session, you will come away with amazing paper creations!

I've been folding origami for over twenty years. I have been affiliated with Taro's Origami Studio in Brooklyn, New York for the past six years, and I've independently taught origami at Manhattan Youth LAB Middle School in addition to workshops and private lessons to students of all ages. I've also been hired as an origami artist for a television commercial and live events.

In addition to my origami work, I am an actor, musician, and theatre teaching artist. I trained at George Washington University, New York University, the Dell'Arte School of Physical Theatre, and Circus Warehouse. Some of my favorite professional credits include summers with the Texas and South Dakota Shakespeare Festivals, composing an award-winning score for Libra Theater's "12th Night," and teaching/directing as an international guest artist with Burgh Healthy Hub in Helensburgh, NSW, Australia.

Jeff was such an amazing teacher. He came to our home and even brought the special paper with him. Our son who is 7 and his friends (8-9yrs) thoroughly enjoyed learning how to fold origami and it was a creative fun way to spend the afternoon. We hope to do it again soon.
