Jeff P. was a Founding Advisory Committee member of the Fairfield Theatre Company (FTC) and eventually became their first Managing Director. He was the first Director of Marketing & Public Relations at Westport Country Playhouse during Joanne Woodward’s earliest seasons as Artistic Director, and held the same title at Hartford Stage during Michael Wilson’s new artistic leadership. He created and managed the subscription-driven Family Broadway Series at the “new” Oakdale Theater at the time they became the largest theatre in New England. Jeff held management positions at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, Yale Repertory Theatre as well as Off-Broadway and on, with the 1994 Tony-award winning production of Medea, featuring Dame Diana Rigg. As an arts marketing consultant from 2005-2007, Jeff was invited to be a guest lecturer/presenter for the Connecticut Commission on the Arts. After holding management positions in the non-profit arts & commercial entertainment industries for fifteen years, Jeff joined Red 7 Media in Norwalk CT. where he helped launch the Event Marketing Institute (EMI) as Member Services Director in 2007. He was named Executive Director of the Exhibit Designers & Producers Association (EDPA) in 2008. Jeff worked side-by-side with eleven association Presidents, the officers and full Board of Directors to push the growth and health of EDPA’s membership base as well as its many programs which include the EDPA Foundation, a separate not-for-profit organization. Jeff launched PRO Management LLC in late 2015 to continue the association management work of the EDPA as well as the EDPA Foundation. By all accounts (except his own) the transition was seamless. And after 60+ years, Jeff was instrumental in the official & legal name change of the association in early 2017, now known as the EXPERIENTIAL Designers & Producers Association (EDPA). He became EDPA’s Managing Director in 2019, about the same time that PRO Management started working with additional clients like the Healing NET Foundation, a physician based group of innovators specializing in the care of neuroendocrine cancer patients. An undergraduate of The Catholic University of America in Wash. DC., he did his graduate work at Yale University where he earned his master’s degree in Theater Management. When not running his own company, you'll find him teaching & performing magic under the stage name; "Mr. Jeffo".
