Starting with my first music lessons at age 7, I've spent the last 40 plus years studying and performing music. I studied classical guitar with well-known Cuban virtuoso, Carlos Molina & Adam Holtzman. I've performed with some of the music world’s greats such as blues legend Bo Diddley, The Platters, The Coasters, Stephen Stills (Crosby, Stills & Nash), Bonnie Raitt as well as jazz greats Randy Brecker, Red Rodney, Ira Sullivan, Pam Laws & Marcus Roberts. Since moving to the Portland area in April 2015 I've performed with the Portland Wind Symphony, The Hillsboro Symphony, The Minidoka Swing Band, for Nike at the Olympic trials, on jazz night at WineUp on Williams downtown. & innumerable private performances. As a teacher, I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Florida State University and after teaching middle school in Florida, spent 18 years as a teacher trainer in Japan for a major English school chain specializing in children ages 1 ½ on up.
