Home-grown Mercedian back after many adventures! I'm eager to share my knowledge of Russian, French and the world around. I began my career as a linguist in Russia, learning the language intensively on the street and in the classroom, while also teaching English to businessmen. Through connections, I was able to dabble in legal and academic translation. I continued my education in France, mastering the language while also getting to sing in classical choirs and play oboe in wind ensembles. I have most recently completed a teachers' exchange program with the French Ministry of Education. I taught 5th thru 12th grade in two schools in beautiful Lyon, France. I gave evening lessons to engineers and logistics specialists wishing to improve their English. Adapting to different teaching styles needed for each age group was challenging challenging but I have always enjoyed working with such diverse groups of students. The many challenges I have faced have molded me into a resilient teacher. I plan lessons carefully but am quick to adapt to students' needs. I will be glad to help you meet your goals with your language-learning.
