Go beyond the possibilities of sheet music with this teacher’s unique perspective and teaching style

My experience in playing and teaching piano has always been from a performance perspective. I can read sheet music like any other but I emphasize on playing by ear and using a music theory system that will have you understanding before you are reading. I have nothing against sheet music but those who RELY on it don't make versatile musicians. That's a fact. With that being said, if you want to learn how to hear a song or create song by ear WITH understanding of every note and chord then I'm your guy. Let's take your performance to another level.

Hello, My name is Jeremiah and I'm excited to be your teacher. Music has been in my blood since birth. I come from a family of singers and performers. I started my musical journey as boy singing in choirs. In middle school I picked up the saxophone, in high school I started guitar, and I've been playing the keyboard all along the way. At this time I perform in churches, conventions, coffee shops and public events using my voice, guitar, bass, and piano/keyboard. Music is my passion and teaching music is the way I can contribute to this generation. What I can offer you is the ability to play or sing any song you want within a few short lessons and all popular music in a little as six weeks. Even though teaching music is what I do I love to connect with people in general, there are principles in music that can be used in life : diligence, self-worth, pride, and focus are just a few. I'm looking forward to meeting you and helping you meet your goals. Thanks for stopping by!!! *** Lesson Details *** I'm a very easy going person. I like to wear a smile and have fun. With that being said, you can expect me to politely influence a student to go the extra mile. I do make things clear when it comes to practicing and effort but you'll be happy finding out how easy that can be. In 6 weeks you can expect a student to be playing full songs in different keys and vocalists to become more comfortable with the vocal instrument they were born with. Thereafter, is entirely up to what a student wants to do with their talent. Within 3 to 6 months a student should be comfortable playing or singing in front of a family crowd or even publicly. *** Studio Equipment *** I have keyboards, guitars, basses, plenty of chairs, rooms, whiteboards and amps. Bring a notebook and mobile device. For online students, having a tablet, laptop, or desktop computer along with your instrument is all you need. *** Specialties *** I specialize in worship music, gospel, alternative rock, pop, fusion, r&b, motown, neo-soul and jazz. Using the circle of 5ths as well as the number system I've been able to teach students how to play any song they want in any key on their own.
