I have more than 25 years of experience teaching and tutoring adult students from around the world at a variety of competence levels, in several forums: tutoring centers, adult education and college. I am energetic and enthusiastic. I have been a top performer who gets results whether teaching ESOL in government funded programming, or Freshman and remedial composition to a diverse range of non-native speakers in the City University of New York. At my current position as ESOL Instructor, for eleven years I have been a top performer in Average Daily Attendance, Completion Rate and Student Level-Advancement. My students consistently perform well on the Best Plus test, designed by the Center of Applied Linguistics in Washington to measure student conversational English. For you, I am the English Language, living and breathing. My university education was in English Language and Literature.
