I have been studying music and playing guitar and bass for 24 years. I have worked with Grammy-award-winning songwriters for Sony as an engineer, and wrote, recorded and released more than 6 albums. All that aside, I knew nothing about music until I met Alex Sioris and discovered Echometry. With shapes, colors and simple patterns, music is made simple at all levels. Wherever you are at as a musician, I can take you to the next level. I teach from the foundations of Echometry. Echometry is the answer to traditional music theory. Music is math. Any music instructor will tell you that. And yet, they can not give you, in clear mathematical form, the answers to music because they use letters. Traditional music theory uses 7 letters and a confusing number of sharps and flats to represent 12 notes. Echometry uses 12 numbers to represent 12 notes. Traditional music theory is like trying to read a cookie recipe on a crumpled up piece of paper without straightening it out first. Echometry is like reading the original tollhouse recipe.
