I received my Bachelors in Performance for Classical Guitar from the University of North Texas in 2000. Along the way I have played in multiple Rock bands and have given countless solo performances in Classical Guitar. I have been a full-time guitar teacher for over 15 years now. It’s hard to believe when I started I was one of those long haired guitar players enjoying the rock band scene and today… I’m saving a fortune on shampoo! I still like to get out and perform but I truly love teaching. Over the years I have enjoyed watching my students grow to do their own thing in music whether it be jamming with their buddies, creating their own bands, or striving for their Masters in music. Today I continue to learn as I teach. I have been fortunate to enjoy learning from some great teachers over the years. Learning never quits with music, that’s why I love it!
