    About Jason D.

My name is Jason DePue, and I've been playing violin for 38 years. I play classical and fiddle/folk music. I grew up amongst four brothers and went to college attending the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. I teach any level, from beginner to pro, and consider my temperament to be nice and approachable. You the student you are what matters. My website is: jasondepue . com I strongly recommend you look at my youtube page to see examples of my work. Type: "Jason DePue, violin" I can address any troubleshooting to help you improve on the violin. I also tailor my approach to each individual student. I encourage the student to *think for yourself*. You are your best teacher. All the answers to the violin are directly under our noses. I'm happy to help you achieve your goals on the violin in any way possible; not only to help you further enjoy playing the instrument, but meanwhile to also introduce you to new and incisive ways to improve your playing. Happy practicing! Salut! Jason DePue
