    About Jasmine D.

I love playing and teaching the oboe and helping people find their own voice through the instrument! I have a bachelor's degree of music in oboe performance from the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, SUNY. Since then, I have become a teacher at the Real Brave Audio Music School in addition to having taught privately for 3 years so far. I started playing music at the age of 5 after being so fascinated by watching orchestras on TV! I continued music through middle school and attended Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School for Music and Art and Performing Arts where I began playing the oboe after I switched from flute. I realized the oboe is the instrument through which I could express myself the most. I have played with professional ensembles such as the Carnegie Hall affiliate ensemble Decoda, Greenwich Village Orchestra, Metro Chamber Orchestra, and Gateways Festival Orchestra.
