My name is Jarrod V. I am a graduate of the University of Rhode Island Music Program. I currently teach music in Beaufort County, SC. I also perform in many local bands, including Lowcountry Jam, Soundboy, the Storks, White Liquor, 2 Sons, etc. I have previously performed on stage with members of the Grateful Deal and the Allman Brothers. I have also opened for acts such as P-Funk, Buddy Guy, the Violent Femmes, Michael Franti, Johnny Winter and the Spin Doctors.

Jarrod is a great instructor!
From the first lesson, our son (11) was excited and engaged! He even play his trumpet for fun !
As a parent, I am pleased with the balanced instruction/practice ratio that has instilled responsibility and dedication without being overwhelming and frustrating.
Jarrod teaches at a student's pace, while adding just the right amount of challenge, allowing confidence to grow in a well organized, fun and personalized instruction plan.
What I like most is; Jarrod loves music and teaching! He addresses success and challenges with enthusiasm, support and encouragement, equally.
Jarrod, goes beyond the norm to customize a study plan that best fits my needs; he is a wonderful instructor. He is also pleasant and patient with me. Very pleased with him.
The lesson was great!
Sebastian is having an amazing time with his teacher Jarrod. He looks forward to his lessons and practices very hard at home not only because he loves the drums but because he wants to impress his teacher. Jarrod is a smart and very talented instructor, he explains everything well and allows the student to feel comfortable embrace the lessons easily. Sebastian has a blast and grasps everything quickly thanks to Jarrod. He's an amazing musician and Sebastian is very happy and lucky to have him as an instructor.
Great instructor. Jarrod has the ability to get our son completely motivated and makes the experience fun.
Just wanted you to know that Zach is really getting a lot out of your lessons so far, much more than his last teacher. Lisa
Jarrod is doing great with Shane. He is learning a lot & is having fun at the same time! Thank you.

Jarrod is very punctual. He is good with the kids. I think he is a great musician too. (I don't play their instruments.) Hope the children will be inspired.
I really enjoyed my lessons with Jarrod. He's very patient and I've enjoyed taking lessons from him.
