Acting with Jaron C.

With ten years of acting experience and four years of teaching experience I am confident that I have plenty to offer students of all ages. I have been lucky enough to prepare curriculum and teach an array of students from as young as toddlers to as old as college students. I have performed in 27 productions, several short films, and originated a character in a SCAD’s original television show called “Nailed It”. I guest taught “Intro to Acting” at the University of Alaska, taught “Improvisation” and “Auditioning” for Training Better Artists children’s Theatre Company, and tutored underprivileged students as a part of Americorp’s after-school program in Anchorage, Alaska. I am capable of assisting students in honing and building their strengths. I am a firm believer in bringing truth to every role and staying true as an artist. I believe the craft of acting encourages new perspectives and discourages judgment towards others through looking at characters from all walks of life. These are the kinds of lessons I want to continue to instill in future artists.
