Jared Cowen, born on April 29th, 1998 is a student at State University College of Oneonta where he majors in Music Industry. Jared picked up the guitar when he was 4-years-old and has not stopped playing ever since. He has won awards such as runner up for All-State Jazz Guitarist in New York State and multiple years in a row was the lone guitarist for Nassau County's All-County Jazz Ensemble. Jared still performs in many school ensembles and has his own bands as well. Not only does he play guitar and write songs for his performing acts, but he also books, manages, and promotes them. Jared has booked national acts such as Flux Capacitor, Electric Love Machine, Formula 5, and Kendall Street Company, and has worked with many venue owners, talent buyers, and promoters across the Northeast Region. Jared strives everyday to be the best in his fields, and has high hopes for a successful career in the Music Industry.
"Jared seemed to have new riff to back up each new chorus, and the song’s complexity redoubled every couple bars as it heated up"
- Gill Sfaard, Live for Live Music
"Jared Cowen, a versatile stand out, especially on “Machiavellian” which contains guitar work that makes the song a distant cousin of Henry Mancini’s calliope in "Baby Elephant Walk" building firmly and erupting for a fire-y ending."
- Pete Mason, NYS Music
